The Nobbys Lighthouse is a must-see attraction for anyone visiting the area. Not only is the lighthouse itself a stunning sight to behold, but the walk to get there is equally as enjoyable. Please note, however, that there is no car access along the Macquarie Pier, so you will need to walk or bike your way to the site. From the Nobbys Beach car park, it's just a short 10-minute walk to the gate, followed by a gentle uphill climb of 220 meters to the Signal Master's Cottage. Despite the site's relative isolation and exposure to the elements, it's well worth the trip - just be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring a jacket to stay warm on breezy days! The site is open to the public on weekends and public holidays from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., so plan your visit accordingly to explore this beautiful spot at your leisure.
