How to Prepare and What to Expect When Having Tree Work Done
Tree work can be time-consuming and difficult for those who live in it.
Preparing:
If the client does not specify otherwise in the estimate, they must reserve parking. The crew will need 3 spaces for regular parking directly in front of your property. It is essential that you move your vehicles from your driveway.
Personal property: Any pots, outdoor furniture, or other personal items that could be damaged should be removed from the area where work is being done. Personal items may be charged extra by the crew.
Dog poo: Crew members will inspect your yard for dog waste. The crew will run ropes across the ground and rig equipment. This can cause delays or cancellations.
Internet Access: Your internet, cable TV, and landline phone service may be disrupted if a tree is cut. Usually, your company will restore your service within 24 hours. We can provide temporary internet/telephone access if you require it. You will be charged $40 if you do not return your cable line.
You have the following options:
Arrival: If your tree job is scheduled for morning work they will arrive between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. However, if the crew arrives at your tree job before that time they will update you as soon as possible. If you need to know more about the arrival time, please call the office at least one hour prior.
Timing of different services: We cannot perform all services by the same person.
Working from home: You don't have to be there when tree work is taking place. It is possible to work at the same time as tree maintenance and it will still be done correctly in your absence. This is one way of reducing the cost of tree maintenance.
Rest Of The Debris:
Leaves: If you need to do tree work in the fall, we charge an additional fee.
It is possible to keep the wood from getting damaged by leaving it as it is. Additional fees could be charged for any adjustments made after the fact.
Stump grindings You will still have enough material to move the stumps.
